Day 52: {layout}

As it is right now, layouts often sit on my desk unfinished for days, sometimes weeks. I finally was able to put the finishing touches on this layout for Brayden's 2nd birthday. I used K and Company Dreams (I think that's the name) and Core'dinations for the title and tricycle. I stickled the red for the tricycle. I really like all the frames of Brayden opening his presents and Ava's reaction to him getting his own tricycle.

Day 29: January 29, 2011 {best friend}

Courtney's birthday SURPRISE! Her Matt broght some decorations over so we got to the restaurant a bit early to set up. Some of her teacher friends and our mutual friends were all there to celebrate. I was really worried we wouldn't pull this off and at the last minute she would figure it out. Everyone was there, waiting on her. She had helped her parents move that day and when Matt went to pick her up and she was just going to pull her hair back and go to dinner. They were able to convince her to shower, she'd feel better! haha. She came in and walked around the corner and it didn't seem like it registered what was happening at first. Finally, she figured it! We were all there for HER party! We had a great time singing karaoke, visiting and getting her to do as many of her 30 dares as possible! Even some of her friends from college came to help celebrate. Awesome! Her husband had one of his band kids make this cake for her in Gator colors. The best part? The girl is going to FSU next year so on the back she wrote "Go Noles!" Courtney ended up peeling off that part. Brat. But we had so much fun and I'm glad she had a good time too!

Day 28: January 28, 2011 {color}

Courtney's birthday party is Saturday and I made her this centerpiece. I've done a couple of them and they are really a lot of fun. Tiring and takes a lot of time, but it is also something I can do in spurts if I need to. I have arranged and rearranged it a million times but I think I'm happy with it.

Day 3: January 3 {Happy Birthday Princess Style!}

One of Ava's friends, Lili, turned 4 today! Her mom and I went to high school together. She requested everyone dress as princesses! Ava wore her new Rapunzel costume and everyone loved it! She also won the "Pin the Crown on the Princess" game!

October 4-Happy Birthday, Matt!

Today is Matt's birthday! He had the day off and I came home with a cake and some flowers. My mom and dad usually keep the babies on Monday nights so we went to Bamboo, our favorite sushi place. We always have a lot of fun there, the sushi chefs are hilarious. And it's always nice to go where people know you!

September 5-Collin Raye

Today is really Brayden's birthday! I can't believe it's been 2 years and I can't believe everything that has happened. I still remember the day I had him, I remember his first birthday and I remember finding out I was pregnant again. And to see the little boy he is becoming. Wow. He's a trip that's for sure!
We went to Cracker Barrel for breakfast before Matt's grandparents left. We ran into some friends of my parents who treated Ava to a game of chess. I think this picture is absolutely hilarious.

Later that night Collin Raye was playing for free at the Destin Harbor. We took Matt's dad and stepmom to meet up with Courtney and her parents for the concert. It was really an amazing concert. He played a lot of his old and new songs. He talked a lot. A lot of kids were out front dancing their hearts away and he LOVED it. We were able to see him after the concert for pictures and an autograph! He actually had a conversation with us too, not just a hey thanks for coming. He really seemed like a genuine guy! Brayden got a picture with him with Brayden's Mimi, but it's on another camera :(

September 4-Happy Birthday, Brayden! (well, party)

Brayden's birthday party was today. I didn't really decorate, so I decided to do a bucket for him. This is what I did in 2 1/2 hours. I put it together superfast! But he was proud of it and here he is showing it off. this is his gift from his Great grandparents. Ava reacting to what it is when he finally gets it open! It's his very own tricycle!!! That he obviously couldn't wait to ride!Ava, the present pro, was on hand to help with any unwrapping or explaining. The hardest part about this whole process was keeping him from playing with everything right after he unwrapped it!V

May 30-My birthday

This is what Courtney made for me. It's so cute, I thought. Today, though, my family and I went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner and just spent some time out. It was still raining a little bit but it was manageable!

May 29-Me and my gang

Although my birthday is tomorrow, we had our friends over for a cookout and some drinks. It POURED but we were able to make it fun. Courtney made this awesome sombrero (pics tomorrow) for me to wear. It was great to have them because honestly, turning 30 scares me a little bit.

May 28-Happy Birthday, Jimbo!

Today was my Jimbo's (mom's dad) 75th birthday. We went out to dinner at a local restaurant and we took the picture at the end. This is Jimbo with my babies and my cousin's daughter, Isis.

May 16-Happy "Bear"thday!

Sorry. Couldn't help myself. For those of you that have stuck with me, thanks. I apologize for being so far behind.

Anyways, my sister took the kids to Build a Bear for Ava's birthday. They really had a good time once they figured out what they could do. Ava made a Birthday Princess Bear that she named "Sleeping Beauty Porkchop" and Brayden made a dog with swim trunks and glasses. We named it "Cool Dude."

The pictures are small because I had to take them from my Facebook. My phone died and I never synced the pictures to the computer. I do have them on Walgreens.com (thank you for mobile upload capability) so at least I can get them in print. Sorry, though, for the bad quality.

May 15-Happy Birthday, Ava!

Ava had quite the birthday. My parents took their Mustang to "show" at the Military Appreciation Day so while we were waiting for some more family to come in we went down there. They had a bounce house which Ava loves, but Brayden doesn't so much. Ms. Judy got Ava a puppy dog cake and gave Brayden an Oscar cupcake. We sat on horses, and FINALLY got to her actual party. It was at our favorite "beach" and Matt's family came in and my parents were there. We had cake and ice cream and swam for a bit. Then we had dinner at our house.
