Day 3: January 3 {Happy Birthday Princess Style!}

One of Ava's friends, Lili, turned 4 today! Her mom and I went to high school together. She requested everyone dress as princesses! Ava wore her new Rapunzel costume and everyone loved it! She also won the "Pin the Crown on the Princess" game!

Day 2: January 2 {Let's Go Fly a Kite!}

My dad got Brayden a Space Shuttle kite. We went over there and it was windy enough to fly it. They both did such a great job!

Day 1: January 1 {Happy New Year!}

Finally. 2010 is over! I made it through year one of my Project 365 and am ready to take on 2011. This project has really given me a lot. It's been stressful at times trying to find SOMETHING to take a picture of but it's been so fun and rewarding. My kids are used to mom with the camera and most people ask about it. I have met some amazing ladies in this process and learned a lot about them, photography and scrapbooking! Talent like crazy, those ladies. I'm excited to continue this adventure!
After a long and eventful night with Courtney and her dogs, we had an easy day. Well, the pouring rain really helped too. Brayden decided enough was enough and he was going to ride his bike anyways!

December 2010-FINISHED!!!!

December 31,2010-My last picture of 2010. And I'm done. Courtney, her dogs and my babies. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! December 30-My parents got us an electronic dart board. This is my bullseye. And I got another one later in the night! WOOT!! But yeah, I did throw it a bit hard...the flag came off...
December 29-The babies watching TV on the floor in my room. I was trying to do scrapbooking.

December 28-The City of Niceville put up this huge display of lights in their city buildings area. The library, police and fire stations, a children's park and city hall are there. They had a few little buildings, a reindeer barn and little scenes set up all over. We drove around 3 or 4 times before I figured the cops might come out to see us :)
December 27-Christmas presents STILL on the table. December 26-My old boss from the deli turned 60 today. They had a surprise party at the restaurant.

December 25-Merry Christmas! Opening presents

December 24-Christmas PJ's-A Reed children tradition that excites only their mother!!

December 23-Matt and I wrapped presents tonight. Here they are under the tree.

December 21-Brayden's first haircut. Yes. I cried. And I don't care that he does look better. His hair is gone :(

December 20-Part of the eclipse! December 19-Intently working on her letters

December 18-Hot chocolate and donuts!

December 17-I made this for my dad for Christmas. He loves the Polar Express and has made it a tradition with my babies. I didn't make the idea for myself. I found it on a Blog Hop from All Things Crafty.

December 16-the kids after their program. Brayden sang "Up on the Housetop" and Ava sang "Jingle Bells" and "Little Drummer Boy." This was right before they met Santa!

December 15-My wonderful gift from my wonderful Secret Sister, Amy! I received the jar etched that says "Yum!" and has a piece of candy on the other side, Reese's, a flower pen and a recipe for Apple Crisp! How beautiful, right? I need to take a better picture of the jar. It is so cool. December 14

December 4, 2010-
The city Christmas Parade was today and we had a good time. It was kind of long and the ACC Championship was starting...But we were able to see Santa Claus and the kids got tons of candy!
December 3-Brayden riding around as Rudolph. December 2, 2010-Ava's house on the porch. Ready for Christmas!

December 2, 2010-Took my mom to the doctor again and as I was trying to turn around in a small parking lot I backed over the curb. This is ALL that happened. Thank goodness!

November 30, 2010-This is Eddie. Eddie was a student at my school last year. He received all of his credits but hadn't passed his FCAT. He worked with Matt so it was just an interesting small world. He came looking for me to help him pass his test this year and the news we got today was that HE PASSED!!! They had a diploma ready for him! We are all so proud!!

November 2010 again

November 25:

Happy Thanksgiving! Notice I'm on the outside of the kitchen taking pictures. It's where I do my best work :)

November 26:

Happy Black Friday! These are some of the ads we were interested in. We were up at 2:30 to make it to Kohl's by 4. It was fun, just me and Matt but we were exhausted by noon!
November 26: Go Noles! Today we played University of Florida, HUGE rivals. we have not beaten them in 6 years? At least? Today was sweet sweet revenge. Not only did we win, we won convincingly. And then Maryland beat NCState (I think that's how it went) to send us to the ACC Championship! Wooo Hooo!! We were at the Ale House after visiting a friend's baby's baptism and it was crazy in there. But the kids had fun, and I love that they get excited with us!

November 28:

It's time! This is, by far, my pride and joy when it comes to Christmas decorations. My Sugar and Spice village! It's now retired so I have to find pieces on Ebay. And sometimes, they aren't cheap. So it's been a while since I've added more.
November 29:
This red bird (cardinal?) was just hanging out on campus as Ms. Hardy and I were standing outside. I took this with my phone and didn't know at the time I could zoom. I uploaded the picture to picnik.com and then grayed out the surroundings to make him pop. I wish I would have thought to do this before I printed it!

2010

November 20, Saturday:

Ava is at Oma and Opa's again, without her blanket. For something that she could hardly go to the bathroom without, this is HUGE! Here it sits, on the glider in her room!
November 21, Sunday:
Matt brought me home flowers after a particularly bad day. I think they smelled beautiful and they look great too!

Monday, November 22:

Brayden was playing in the leaves at my parents' house. We lost him. When I tried to take pictures, I had to just put the camera out and click. It was getting darker and we really couldn't find him at times!

Tuesday, November 23:

The kids had a Thanksgiving feast at their school on their last day. Luckily, we let our kids out early too, so I was able to catch the end of Brayden's and eat with Ava. Here is Ava with the plate we shared.
Wednesday, November 24:
The day before Thanksgiving always seems to be a get together day for friends. This one was no different. We met at a friend's house where this really cool wall art was hanging. Jill, Michelle and I were ready after this!

Continuing on in 2010

Monday, November 15:
This is what happens when my kids go off somewhere with their dad! They end up on motorcycles! Yeesh....:) This is my father in law's motorcycle.
Tuesday, November 16:
Um. Why?

Wednesday, November 17:
I just finished this book. I had heard about it and it got great reviews and I thought it was good. Not exciting, not stellar or world changing, but it was good. I found myself skimming over pages, waiting for something good to happen and then reading that part. The main character bothered me a bit and the ending disappointed me. I really hate trilogies that are so dependant of each other. I like to read a book and be satisfied if that's all I read. I never know when I'll be able to get the next book, so I hate when the book is just continued in the next book. This one was like that. Literally, left with an incomplete sentence even...

Thursday, November 18:

Brayden got my camera again. You can tell by his finger. Sometimes his pictures are actually really good, he just takes close to a thousand every time. With a finger in them!

Friday, November 19:

How I got to see Courtney AGAIN, I don't know. But I went to scrapbook at her house where her scraproom is her old dining room. When she built her table, she actually made it big enough so that when I come scrap there's room for us at the same place! Cool, huh? I knew I loved her for a reason ;) Here are our daquiris we spent more time drinking than actually scrapping :)

Let me finish out the year....

I hope!

Monday, November 8: After a bath, the kids were playing around and Ava picked up Brayden. I don't know how they didn't fall over!

Tuesday, November 9:
We found a dining table on Craigslist for super cheap. We needed one. See that little glass on the left side? That was our old table. We had one chair that hadn't broken and it was just a mess. We spent most of our mealtimes on the couch with trays. It wasn't great for true family time! Wednesday, November 10:

My mom had a doctor's appointment in Pensacola for her foot. It's about 45 minutes away so Ava and I rode with her. It was a long wait, my Gypsy and phone batteries died and Ava was getting antsy. We took a walk around the little complex there and came across this bridge behind a dentist's office. I thought it was pretty! The whole area was really pretty.
Thursday, November 11:

Happy Veteran's Day! Matt took the kids to Jacksonville for the weekend so I was on my own. My parents were in the parade with their Mustang Club so I came out to see them. It was nice to see everyone out supporting our Veterans and cheering for them.

Friday, November 12:
I was able to join Courtney and her scrapbooking group tonight. I just did my own thing since it was a last minute thing. This is one I did. I have to redo the "we'd" but this is one of my favorite quotes by Jimmy Buffett and I thought it was quite fitting for the crazy faces we made in these pictures!

Saturday, November 13:

Empty beds. Even though I love the quiet, I miss my kids! But look, a made bed!! Sunday, November 14:

The pictures in use. I need to find a better means of attaching them. They keep falling off.
