Day 64: March 5 {favorite drink}

Wierdest. Picture. Setting. Ever.

My refrigerator.

Good story. Really. Matt makes this awesome sweet tea. It's so simple, but for some reason, I can never replicate it (must be the whole "I suck at cooking thing...even tea?!?!). So here it is in our convenient spout container. Unfortunately it is about kid height so eagle eyes have to be on the fridge at all times. Or at least a kid. And the fridge is easier to watch...

Day 63: March 4 {sushi is yummy!}

So Matt and I have this place we love to go for sushi. It's called Bamboo and it's in a shopping center right near the house. They have a great blueberry beer and of course, saki bombs (shudder). What makes this place so great is the sushi chefs there. They are high-larious. For serious. I couldn't get a picture of all of them, this is Danny. They had only two, Mike being the other. Danny and Mike are brothers and own the place. When Melissa, Matt's sister came to visit, we ended up here. Thankfully she likes sushi. And funny sushi chefs. The fact that they are kinda cute doesn't hurt. Although these pictures are odd... (sorry so white...it's only March)

I don't even know. I was trying for an action shot. And I got, well, an action shot apparently.

Day 62: March 3, 2011 {donuts are yummy.}

Oh goodness. If there is anything my kids like more than donuts, it might be me. Might. Getting ready for ballet turned into a process and it just overwhelmed the kids. They had to take a coffee break. Or donut break. Ava enjoys donuts with sparkles (sprinkles).We had to go through the whole freak out of not getting chocolate goodness on the ballet outfit and we did o.k. Then it was off to ballet and to wait for my sis and sister in law to show up for the weekend!

Day 53: February 22 {splurge!}

Because I was so excited that I finally got to go to Moe's (one of my favorite restaurants ever), it had to be my picture. I was taking a picture of my cup and you know my kids...they had to share their cups too. They behaved so well in the restaurant, because it was just me with them and Moe's is like a Subway but for burritos and stuff. I always call it a cross between a Taco Bell and Subway. We don't have one near us anymore so when we go to Ft. Walton, I really push to go there!

Day 43: February 12, 2011 {Spaghetti at the Reeds}

Have you ever tried to feed toddlers spaghetti? If yes, these pictures are familiar. If not, let them be a warning...

And THAT'S why they are stripped down to diapers. Straight to the bath with them!!

Day 42: February 11, 2011 {Hand Off}

Ava is no stranger to either side of the camera and anyone who looks at my pictures are no stranger to Ava getting a hold of my camera. This is her view of my box of Hot Tamales. I love this candy. And I guess the fact that you can see the bottom of the theater sized box proves that. Thanks, Ava! :)

Day 37: February 6 {my favorite sport}

I really had every intention of taking a picture of the game but I did take a picture

of the wings! It's my parents' tradition to make wings for the Super Bowl. I took a picture of them last year, so I decided it would be kind of cool to have another picture one year later!!

Day 22: January 22 {tiny}

It could be tiny AND sweet! This cake was made for my mom for her birthday. We went to a local pizza place and some of her Mustang club came to celebrate. This looks exactly like her Mustang that she puts in shows! (except for the reese's cup wheels!)

Day 21: January 21 {Pop!}

One of our family's favorite snacks is popcorn. It's cheap and easy and we can all share it!

I just finished this book. I had heard about it and it got great reviews and I thought it was good. Not exciting, not stellar or world changing, but it was good. I found myself skimming over pages, waiting for something good to happen and then reading that part. The main character bothered me a bit and the ending disappointed me. I really hate trilogies that are so dependant of each other. I like to read a book and be satisfied if that's all I read. I never know when I'll be able to get the next book, so I hate when the book is just continued in the next book. This one was like that. Literally, left with an incomplete sentence even...

Thursday, November 18:

Brayden got my camera again. You can tell by his finger. Sometimes his pictures are actually really good, he just takes close to a thousand every time. With a finger in them!

Friday, November 19:

How I got to see Courtney AGAIN, I don't know. But I went to scrapbook at her house where her scraproom is her old dining room. When she built her table, she actually made it big enough so that when I come scrap there's room for us at the same place! Cool, huh? I knew I loved her for a reason ;) Here are our daquiris we spent more time drinking than actually scrapping :)

Monday, November 8: After a bath, the kids were playing around and Ava picked up Brayden. I don't know how they didn't fall over!

Tuesday, November 9:

We found a dining table on Craigslist for super cheap. We needed one. See that little glass on the left side? That was our old table. We had one chair that hadn't broken and it was just a mess. We spent most of our mealtimes on the couch with trays. It wasn't great for true family time! Wednesday, November 10:

My mom had a doctor's appointment in Pensacola for her foot. It's about 45 minutes away so Ava and I rode with her. It was a long wait, my Gypsy and phone batteries died and Ava was getting antsy. We took a walk around the little complex there and came across this bridge behind a dentist's office. I thought it was pretty! The whole area was really pretty.

Thursday, November 11:

Happy Veteran's Day! Matt took the kids to Jacksonville for the weekend so I was on my own. My parents were in the parade with their Mustang Club so I came out to see them. It was nice to see everyone out supporting our Veterans and cheering for them.

Friday, November 12:

I was able to join Courtney and her scrapbooking group tonight. I just did my own thing since it was a last minute thing. This is one I did. I have to redo the "we'd" but this is one of my favorite quotes by Jimmy Buffett and I thought it was quite fitting for the crazy faces we made in these pictures!

Saturday, November 13:

Empty beds. Even though I love the quiet, I miss my kids! But look, a made bed!! Sunday, November 14:

We had a pomegranate for the first time in any of our lives. It was quite good. Just a crazy process to get the thing ready to eat!

September 14-baking a cake

Ava decided that she wanted hot dogs in macaroni and cheese for dinner. She also asked her daddy if they could make a cake. Have you ever heard a daddy tell their daughter no? Yeah, me neither! So here they are, putting "sparkles" on the cake. They also had frosting and icing tubes. They were really proud of it!

September 11-

First, let me say that I still remember. I remember where I was, I remember waking up and NOT hearing about it. I remember thinking it was a joke. I remember going to class and the campus literally being shut down. I remember going to my sorority house and gathering and crying and praying. I remember the scenes, the video and I remember the year later. Although I was not personally affected, something like this, that is a huge marker in our generation will not be forgotten and cannot NOT affect you.

Today I had my Comp 6 class for reading and it seems my treat for lunch is Tropical Smoothie. I love love love their smoothies. I worked there when I was in college and no other smoothie place is as good. There weren't any in Jacksonville and isn't one in Crestview, so I have to wait until I get to Fort Walton to get one! Yum!

September 1-marshmallows

My neighbor watched the kids for a little bit while my mom was at the doctor's. I went over to pick them up and they are eating marshmallows dipped in Nutella. Ok, fine, I know they aren't your kids, but whoa! :) But these aren't normal marshmallows, they aren't even the jumbo puffed ones. These are HUGE. See the pink thing on the counter? And the one in Ava's hand? Yeah. Awesome.

August 20-dinner.

Matt grilled ribs. Yum.

August 9-The babies start school!

The babies start school tomorrow so Matt made their lunch. It really helped me out, and then I looked at the sandwich. He cut the crusts off! It drives me crazy that the babies won't eat the crusts. But I did think it was super cute that their Daddy cut their crusts off.

July 20-

Matt and I went to dinner with Matt and Courtney. We ate at a new place called Red Ginger. We had sushi and hibachi. It was super yummy and I've never seen sushi so elaborately presented before!

July 12-Ice cream!

Sometimes Matt brings home ice cream from Sonic. I usually get the Reese's Peanut Butter Cup. He surprised me with a Campfire Blast. Yummy!! It had graham cracker ice cream and chocolate covered marshmallows!! How cool is that?!?! He knows I love smores too. *sigh*
